Haim G. Ginott was a school teacher and well-known child psychologist from Israel once said: ‘Children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression.’
Whatever they learn or perceive during this innocent phase of their lives stays with them as long as they live. The most fulfilling task that I believe is to mould, to influence them over a period of time so that they develop high in moral which results in the growth of intelligence plus character of a child. Children are the precious little beings with unlimited potential that grow when watered with unconditional love, care and compassion.
School, being the second home of students, we aim to create the environment where the child feels loved, cared for and safe and confident to bloom. We strive not only to educate the minds of our precious students but also to impress their hearts with the core values such as honesty, truthfulness, discipline, patience, love and care towards each other.
We stand poised on the threshold of a new era, an era of renaissance, an era of change in the dynamics of education.
In the light of same, VWS has adjusted the sails to face the sweeping winds of change. The aim is to equip the students to emerge all holistic human beings who continue to grow in knowledge, curiosity, courage, creativity, achievements, confidence, competence with sense of fulfillment and understanding.
The zenith of success of our students was impossible to achieve without the never ending spirit, dedication and hard work of the teachers. I also acknowledge the support of parents without whom we would never achieve what we aim to achieve every single day.
Together, we will create an unforgettable and transformative experience for our young learners. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of shaping their future.
I hope and pray that the students of our schools will scale great height and keep the VWS flag high. May God intercede for all who enter the school.
